In Search of a New NFL Team: Minnesota Vikings

I am on a quest to find a new NFL team. I'm going team by team to find out which team is the best fit for me. Now let's look at the NFC North. Out of this group we have the reigning Super Bowl champs! Now the Purple People Eaters. 

Well. I do love Adrian Peterson. When he's not fumbling he's easily the second best running back in the league. (Sorry I'm on Team Chris Johnson all day). I am a fan of the young receivers Sidney Rice and Percy Harvin (SEC) but Rice will become a free agent once the new CBA is in place. Losing Rice would be a huge setback for Minnesota. Reports are coming out that the Minnesota Vikings have made a contract offer to wide receiver Sidney Rice, but the terms of the proposal are not yet known. Whatever they offered him, they had better make sure it’s a deal he cannot turn down. That's scary. There's a little bit of a QB situation and I've had enough of those in Tennessee. Brett Favre retired so now what? Tarvaris Jackson? Ummm ok. I like most of the parts on this team and I LOVE purple but that QB question is a doozy. So right now let's say the Vikings are at least ahead of the Lions.

Tomorrow I take a look at the "local" team. I live in Central Illinois and everyone here is a Chicago Bears fan. I'll give them a shot. Stay tuned!
