I am on a quest to find a new NFL team. I'm going team by team to find out which team is the best fit for me. Now let's look at the AFC North. Out of this bunch there are a lot of PLAYERS that I like...teams? I'm not sure about that. Let's look at the Browns.
Cleveland has been through some hard times in the last...century. The Drive, the Fumble, the Shot, the Move, the Decision. However they DO have the Rock 'N" Roll hall of fame so that's something right? Looking at this team there is a bright spot. Peyton Hillis. Hillis had a career year this past fall and was a fantasy beast. Since he's my bright spot, I'll let his "white running back" comment slide. Hillis was 8th in the AFC for rushing and scored 11 touchdowns. I'm sure I don't have to mention it but he's a SEC product of course. That's always a plus in my book. Other than Peyton Hillis I do see hope in Colt McCoy but I have a history with Texas QB's and it's not good. See: Vince Young and Chris Simms. As far as their receivers go Browns fans want A.J. Green. And after two years of Mohamed Massaquoi and Brian Robiskie, I don’t blame them. I can't in good conscience be a Browns fan. I mean really. I might as well stay with the Titans.
Stay tuned as I turn towards the Bengals tomorrow. Me, Ocho, and T.O? This should be fun.
