There are many reasons I just can't get with the Ravens. In November of 2000 they became the first team to ever beat the Titans at home. I was there. It wasn't pleasant. Then in that same season they put us out of the playoffs. That game was awful. Ray Lewis STOLE Eddie George's manhood. STOLE IT. Eddie didn't fumble; the ball just somehow ended up in Ray's hands. Then let's go back to a few years back when the Titans were the last undefeated team in the league. We were SUPER BOWL bound. But guess what...the Ravens put my team out of the playoffs. Thanks for nothing Alge Crumpler. So to pick the Ravens would go against EVERYTHING in my being but they have A LOT going for them. They've got a good young QB in Joe Flacco. John Harbaugh just signed an extension through 2014 and they DO have Ray Lewis and his Old Spice commercials. The Ravens are sitting on top of the AFC North. They have several players that I actually love:
- Former Tennessee VOL, Donte Stallworth
- Interception King (in my eyes), Ed Reed
- Former Tennessee Titan, Derrick Mason
- The Blind Side Guy, Michael Oher
- One of my fave WR, Anquan Boldin
I could go on but compared to the Browns and the Bengals this is my team for today in the AFC North. This hurts my heart a little. I'm not sure if this team can beat the Steelers for my new team. I'll be back tomorrow to discuss the Black and Yellow.
